MDS is the new sponsor of Dimension Customs, producer of “Lata Velha” cars

MDS, the largest brake disc and drum manufacturer in Latin America, is the newest sponsor of Dimension Customs, the shop/producer of "Lata Velha" (vintage) cars, featured on Rede Globo's television program called "Caldeirão do Huck."

The partnership was signed in June and can already be checked in the last three cars (Brasília, Parati and Chevette) that were delivered by the program. "This action brings the company closer to its final consumer and improves the perception and recognition of the brand," according to the company.

One of the owners and mechanics at Dimension, Daniel Barbosa, stresses that the main concern of the Shop is the quality of the products used in the cars, from the care taken in the manufacturing of the parts with quality materials and to the specialized technical service. "We only want to work with the main companies in the automotive market, so the quality of MDS products was decisive for closing the partnership," explains Barbosa.

MDS is a reference in the Brazilian automotive aftermarket, producing brake discs, brake drums, wheel hubs and brake shoes, among other products.

After the selection of the car by the program, the shop will average 15 days refurbishing the car. The Dimension Customs team is made up of approximately 25 people.

The partnership with Dimension Customs reinforces the importance of MDS in the market. The company is already recognized in the market as a company that makes quality products. In 2009, during the third season of Dimension Customs, MDS will continue to supply parts for cars for Lata Velha, and will continue as well in 2010. "The initiative strengthens the strategy of bringing the positive company image within the automotive market to our end consumers, aggregating the modern and friendly image of the TV show with our brand," says Victor Spilere of MDS.
